There is however a catch. If you have no subscribers, there is no point of sending out newsletters. And if you have subscribers but send out terrible newsletters, then they won’t have any effect.
In this article, we´ll be teaching you how to get newsletter subscribers. Lets get started!
1. Have a sign-up bar in the end of every article
By placing a newsletter sign-up bar in the bottom of an article you will have a bigger chance of getting more sign ups. This however is only true if the content that the visitor have read gives value to the point that the visitor would like to read more.
2. Run contests and giveaways
People are always up for free stuff. Offer a giveaway where the terms to join is to sign up for your newsletter. If the prize is something that attracts people , it can quickly become viral, resulting in loads and loads of new sign ups. Read more about arranging contests on social media HERE!
3. Offer sneak-peaks
Share info on social media that you are giving sneak peaks of upcoming collections to those that are subscribed to your newsletter. Give information about upcoming events, new collections etc that makes people really eager to subscribe to your newsletter. Done correctly, this can generate a lot of new subscribers.
4. Offer exclusive deals for first-time subscribers
Offer new subscribers discounts or gifts when signing up. Give them a deal that they can´t refuse!
5. Have newsletter pop-ups on your website
Make it simple to subscribe to your newsletter. Minimal amount of text and a big bar for the email address is a great way to make it as easy as possible for future subscribers.
6. Hold giveaways for email subscribers only
Similar to number 2 but still different. Instead of holding giveaways where the terms are that you should sign-up for your newsletter to enter, arrange frequent giveaways to the ones that already are subscribed! If you inform the rest of the people who aren’t already subscribed that you regularly hold giveaways, they will be more eager to join in on the fun!
