We are truly living in the age of the social media influencer, with there now being tens of millions of enthusiastic people across the globe, who are all earning money by showcasing various brands’ products to their legions of faithful followers. It took a while for society to comprehend what influencers were, with there being visible confusion at what it exactly entailed, and even much toxicity being aimed at many taking up the role.
