The best thing you can do for social engagement anywhere is to know your audience. The last thing you want is to waste your time, energy and/or money marketing to people who will probably never share your content in the social world. In this article, we’ll give you some useful Facebook Tips That Increases your Engagement.

  • Get to know your audience the best you can – once you realize what kind of content they like the most, it will be a lot easier for you to prepare posts that would get a high level of engagement
  • make sure you post frequently enough for people not to forget about your brand – the volume of content posted on social media is growing and you need to fit into this to stay relevant; don’t post to often, though, you don’t want to be considered a spammer
  • Publish diversified content – obviously, your social channels are ultimately meant to promote yourself, still, you don’t want to end up looking like you’re only pushing your own content; it actually should be a minority of what you post. Simply Provide valuable content. Share stories, random facts, behind-the-scenes, other community events etc. Post contents that you’d want to look at and say “wow, this page always have the best stuff out there!”. Don’t be afraid to post funny memes, videos etc if you think it’s something that your audience will like.
  • Pay attention to social listening – chances are people talk about your brand without tagging your social media profiles; use tools like Brand24 or TweetDeck to find those mentions and let people know you’re there for them; people love interacting with brands and it would be a missed opportunity not to do so as far as maintaining social engagement is concerned
  • Ask your audience to engage: If you want your audience to share the content, or comment on the content… Ask them! At the end of each content, ask them to share, like or comment. You will be surprised at how many people actually do it after being called to do so. This is especially applicable to Twitter or Facebook because people are prone to scroll through the news feed and just not take any action. However, if you ask them to like, comment etc— quite a few people actually will just because you asked them to!
