- You can share instantaneously with posting on Instagram.
- You can go back to old posts and share at a later time.
Facebook:
You can link your Instagram and Facebook accounts to share posts directly from Instagram to Facebook:
- Go to your profile and tap
(iPhone) or 
(Android) in the top right corner. - Scroll down and tap Linked Accounts
- Tap Facebook and enter your Facebook login info
Once you link accounts, you will have the option to share a post to Facebook from the same screen where you add a caption.
To share to different channels instantly, create your post as normal and then on the last screen (where you press share) you will see a sharing option.

The post shared to Facebook will be identical to the one you shared on Instagram. If you however are posting on Twitter, the photo will not be shown as a photo. Instead you will be sharing a link to your Instagram where the post is located.
