The Caribou Mathematics Competition is an online global contest held six times during the entire school year. Six contests are provided each day, one for each of the 2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12 grade levels, each in English, French, Persian, Mandarin, Ukrainian, and Azerbaijani.
The Caribou Cup in one school year is the sequence of all the Caribou Competitions. The scoring of each student in the Caribou Cup is assessed by their output during the school year in their best 5 out of 6 tournaments.
All phase transitions (written solutions, previous competitions as well as online practice tests, online math and logic games, mini-courses online) are also available without participating in the contest. Many of them are free.

Caribou math contest is a global online math competition organized in Canada by a small group and members from other nations.
A brief synopsis
levels:
6 Provided grade levels (2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12)
- Students will take part in only one stage of the contest.
- Students will compete only at or above their subject area, never at a lower subject area.
- Good learners are inspired to engage at a higher level.
- First, try previous competitions to determine which grade level to take part in.
Languages:
Seven languages on the proposal: English, French, Chinese Mandarin, Persian, Azerbaijani, Khmer, Ukrainian, and Mandarin.
Frequency:
For two days, 6 competitions per year were held over six days (a Wednesday and a Thursday). Schools also have some grades on the first day and the remaining on the second day, although this is up to the discretion of the teaxchers. Contest Rules
These are the laws of competition on which one responds when competing in Caribou Contests:
- To manage the competition and ensure equal involvement, an adult must be involved.
- Students have 50 continuous minutes to complete the test once they begin.
- If a student is inactive for 30 minutes, their engagement will close instantly.
- Calculators are not allowed, nor are they necessary. It is recommended to use paper and pencil.
Goals
The targets of the competitions are:
- It shows that mathematical problems can be enjoyable and that it is exciting to engage with interactive questions in math contests.
- To strengthen the problem-solving techniques of students by offering a wide range of engaging math activities appropriate for all students.
- If a topic required a strategy or formula that they did not remember, encourage students to get back to their school math.
